Data Security
The importance of data security cannot be overstated and is an issue we take very seriously. It starts with choosing the correct hosting company and placing your data on the correct server (see Web Infrastructure) and finishes with a comprehensive backup schedule.
We employ the following schedule on the Visible Diary databases
- 1 x Full daily backup managed and hosted by an experienced third party provider
- Hourly transactional backups for even more resilliance
- Up-to-the-minute incremental backups to ensure no loss of data
Backups consist of both data exports and raw file copies.
